Nick2014
Hey all. I had an idea recently. Since there is no stable way (as far as I know) to install OSX on an AMD APU (A6-6400k in my case), I had an idea. Is it possible to install OSX on it IF I went and grabbed a GeForce 210 or GT 610? Since the main issue to me seems to be the graphics bit, is this possible? If so, is there a good guide? I'm not afraid to learn new things, so please, any guide, no matter how alien it is! Thanks a BUNCH if you can help! ~Nick Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300092-amd-apu-and-nvidia-cards/ Share on other sites
dcai777
Yes, it is with an AMD kernel I believe. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300092-amd-apu-and-nvidia-cards/#findComment-2049082 Share on other sites
Nick2014
Yes, it is with an AMD kernel I believe. Okay, but I wonder, would it be an FX Kernel, or something else? That was what I should have asked Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300092-amd-apu-and-nvidia-cards/#findComment-2049088 Share on other sites
dcai777
I'm pretty sure that depends on the APU. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300092-amd-apu-and-nvidia-cards/#findComment-2049098 Share on other sites
