chngkh Posted August 4, 2014 Share Posted August 4, 2014 Hi, I am trying to upgrade my working 10.9.4 to 10.10 beta. But the installer stuck at white screen with spinning beach ball after verbose mode. I saw some smckey error before enter the white screen. Fakesmc.kext has placed in 10.10 folder. I also tried to switch to iGPU HD4000 but it stuck at black screen with grey apple and loading bar that never load. Anybody can help? Thanks! justinreyesv Posted August 4, 2014 Share Posted August 4, 2014 I was able to use the native installer to upgrade from Mavericks to Yosemite (plus it installed the Recovery HD for me so it's like a real Macintosh), I can upload the files you need if you like.
