You should not be applying brightness fix to DSDT. But it is not an easy thing, or for me. Make sure you install your patched files to EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched. Also, make sure to DropOem=true as you cannot replace OEM SSDTs without it. According to your bootlog, you have only DSDT.aml and SSDT.aml in ACPI/patched: 5:832 0:017 DSDT found in Clover volume OEM folder: EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\patched\DSDT.aml .. 5:839 0:000 Inserting SSDT.aml from EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\patched ... RehabMan Posted August 21, 2014 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I installed my patched files to EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched dsdt.aml ssdt5.aml ssdt6.aml and my ssdt created with ssdtprgen.sh Clover will not load from those SSDT files (incorrect file names chosen). Must be SSDT-5.aml and SSDT-6.aml. Don't forget to check config.plist for ACPI/SSDT/DropOem=true. You may also wish to review the rest of your OEM SSDT tables to make sure you're not dropping ones that are needed. For example, the one with IAOE is necessary for correct sleep/wake.
