jmiller1219
After all of the announcements preceeding apple's intel transition, Ibm has released low power consuming g5's. Is it now possible to do the unthinkable; put a g5 in a powerbook? asap18
there must be some motherboard differences and the chip may be soldered on anyway. def not worth it. bluedragon1971
I'm fairly certain that the G4 and G5 are not pin-compatible, not to mention chipset differences. There aren't any companies doing PowerMac G4 to G5 upgrade cards, so I'm pretty sure the differences are more than trivial.
