JahStories Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Please post your hw and if applicable the product name. btw it seems its not loading fakesmc did you copied it and nullcpu to /system/library/extensions using terminal from the installer? then boot with -v -x kext-dev-mode=1 if it get stuck post another screen. JahStories Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 reboot into the installer click terminal on the top bar (the menu bar) then type: cp -R /System/Library/Extensions/fakesmc.kext /Volumes/*thenameoftheyosemitepartition*/System/Library/Extensions/ chmod -R 755 /Volumes/*thenameoftheyosemitepartition*/System/Library/Extensions/fakesmc.kext chown -R root:wheel /Volumes/*thenameoftheyosemitepartition*/System/Library/Extensions/fakesmc.kext change *thenameof...* with the partition name you choosed and repeat all 3 commands replacing fakesmc with the nullcpu About the signature: tell me the product name of this ultrabook and i'll help you out to get a more helpful signature.
