Csoft Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 Hello ppl! I tried to get Quake 4 to work today, Everything except sound works. The problem is Quake 4 can only run sound at 44100Hz Sample rate... So i thought ok ill just open the "Sound and Midi Setup" and change! But here comes the issue! I can ONLY use 48000Hz. Does anyone know how i can change to 44100Hz??? Kext: AppleAC97Audio with plugin AppleAC97AudioIntelICH Chip: ICH5 Ive checked the Info.Plist and the vendor and device id is set to ICH5 already (obviously!) If i check my System Profile it doesnt show anything on "Builtin Sound" ?? But besides Quake 4 sound works great!
