PerkyMango
Hey guys! Just wanted to post this to get the attention of any kext (kernel extension) devs. A lot of people have gotten OS X Yosemite on their hacks and have many non-functional drivers (kexts). In this thread, post what kexts you need. For example, If anyone could possible make the following drivers, it would be great; Audio: ALC892 Ethernet: Realtek 8111E Thank you. (That's my request ) Now remember that it's not just like devs hit a magic button and it makes the kext. No. They need to take their time and make sure that it works, compile, test, fix (over and over) until it's working. So if a dev DOES say I will make this driver, thank them and be patient. Rules: - Be respectful These are the guys who work under the hood to get our hackintoshes running. They don't have to do this! - Be polite Don't say "Make me an ALC892 driver now" Keep in mind: If you already have seen a person request a kext, quote it and thank it so that devs can see the demand of that kext. Thank you. ~shad0whack3r Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298661-hey-developers-post-here-what-drivers-you-need/ Share on other sites
