I have a lenovo y510p lappy and most troubleling component on this one is Intel Wifi card that is no go for hackintosh at the moment and probably forever. So I decided I will buy a replacement as the one I have is {censored} anyway. But I am kind a newbie in hackintoshing with wireless cards so i decided I will ask first for an advice. I was considering to buy Genuine Apple Airport Extreme but firstly I dont know if its best choise and actually what type. To be specific, exact model number. I dont know if apple do combo airport cards with BT 4.0 support and if they do what kind will be the best choise in terms of good out of box functioning and performance. Also if such a card can work under windows it would be great as I am dual booting. If Apple Airport is stupid idea the what type of card is best choice. Of course if combo cards are available and actually working out of the box it would be great. I might be ok even with rebranding as a last resort. Any help will be appreciated.
