openone Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 Hello friends, I am trying to install OSX 10.4.6 on my machine with below config >> Pentium D 2.8 GHZ D101GGC motherboard 1 GB RAM 160 GB IDE HD Nvidia Geforce 7300 GT I burned the image using nero , i booted from the DVD , It boots , i can select language, then preparing installation window , until i get "Introduction" screen . when i press "Continue" , it gives me following error. "There has been installation problem" and gives me option to save log. How do i fix this? SOmebody please help me.. :S THanks in advance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rammjet Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 The error means that the installer is having trouble reading data from the DVD. It could be the burn or it could be that the iso you downloaded got corrupted during download. Try burning the DVD again at the slowest speed possible. If available, use a different brand of media or a different type of media (dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw) If it still fails, you might need to re-download the iso.
