kidalive
I recently updated to Mavericks from Mountain Lion and a problem shows up. I found the SMBIOS which embedded in config.plist changed but the updated goes well the problem is I opened terminal and I found the starting line changed from my username to localhost and the app store keeps letting me input my AppleID every time I click the App Store. I find I cannot update my iWork too. Any fix? The computer keep showing me "Update Unavailable with This Apple ID" and "We could not complete your request". I tried to change my name in Sharing of System Preferences but not working. Anyone shed the light will be appreciated. Update using App Store shows this errors blew. Terminal starting lines changed to local host. Mirone
Go to / Library / Preferences / SystemConfiguration / and delete these files / folders: CaptiveNetworkSupport Com.apple.airport.preferences.plist Com.apple.eapolclient.configuration.plist NetworkInterfaces.plist Go to System Preferences> Internet, select all the connections created, and the Minus (-) button delete them, give click Apply. restart Now that you're on OS X, go to System Preferences> Internet, click the Plus (+) button to add the connections back, but now the Ethernet will be the first. Open the DPCI Manager to check whether the Ethernet is as en0 Note: If you are using a Macbook Air SMBios, leave the Wireless as en0, it will work as if you are using Ethernet as en0. Should I include ethernet patch of my Ethernet card? I don`t think this caused the update errors while updating iWork 09 to 2013.
