My laptop is HP Envy 17 2180el : Microprocessor 2 GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM up to 3GHz Microprocessor Cache 6 MB L3 cache Memory 8 GB DDR3 Memory Max Upgradeable to 8 GB DDR3 Video Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6850M (1 GB GDDR5 dedicated) Display 43,9 cm (17,3") Full High-Definition HP Ultra BrightView Infinity Display (1920 x 1080) Hard Drive 500 GB SATA (7200 rpm) Multimedia Drive SuperMulti DVD±R/RW with Double Layer Support Network Card Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Wireless Connectivity Bluetooth wireless networking Intel 802.11 a/g/n other graphics Intel HD3000 Please help me!Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english. Pimentel Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 Hello Boot with: cpus=1 You mobo have a problem with lapic, so you need lapic your kernel or always you'll need boot with cpus=1(using just 1 core) Apply this patch in kernel: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/316-lapic-kernel-patcher-v07/ Good Luck!
