CodeMonkey
Just got my hands on a copy of OS X (10.4.1) x86... Installed it on my development machine earlier with no major problems. The machine's specification is: P4 2.8Ghz [LGA755] (Over-Clocked to 3.2Ghz) with Hyper Threading Abit AS8 (Intel 865PE Chipset) Motherboard On-Board LAN/USB/Firewire (all work perfectly!) ALC658 Audio Codec (Realtek/Advance Logic) 2GB DDR 400Mhz RAM (2 x 1Gb DIMM's) 80Gb Western Digital SATA HDD Phillips IDE CD/DVD ATi Radeon 9250 AGP (256Mb) Gfx Card Belkin F8T001 USB Adaptor (internally fitted) PS/2 Keyboard & Mouse Few small points worth mentioning: * Had to copy the "AppleAC97Audio.kext" file from the Darwin ISO. * Modified the 'com.apple.Boot.plist' file to include "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" option. So far everything I've thrown at it works, including a number of PPC applications I normally use on my "real" Mac. (Microsoft Office X, Firefox, MSN Messenger, iTunes, etc. etc.). Impressive stuff!
