To install Mavericks, you need:

1. A preexisting Mac or Hackintosh

2. 8GB+ USB Flash Drive

3. Time

9. A discrete video card that works in os x

 

To get started, open myHack on the mac/hack and make your install usb. boot from the usb and install. Then, install all the kexts with Kext utility and you should have a nearly perfect hackintosh...

What works:

Sound

Ethernet

QE/CI (I use a hd6570)

usb

 

what does not work:

AHCI SATA

Shutdown

Sleep

Complete Vostro 200 guide with everything fully functional at OSXLatitude! It's using DSDT of 530s origin from LatinMcG.

It's not a great idea to use a tool such as Kext Utility/Kext Wizard on a myHack installation which makes special case of kexts placed in /E/E and uses myFix tool to handle them.
