The memory information is passed by the bootloader to the OS and it's only cosmetic so it won't actually affect the OS at all (as long as the bios shows the correct info, else you've got a real problem). So, which bootloader are you using? Clover? Chameleon? They both can override the info to your liking, check out Clover's wiki and Chameleon's docs (no official wiki apparently).

I am using tony the tiger stuff.... yeah i know we don't talk about it here but it was the less chaotic setup for an asus motherboard at this time... just need to get my wifi/bluetooth working again worked in 10.9.1 now on .3 it is broken...

not saying that fastest is best....  But it has been doing the trick thus far.....

So its just a cosmetic thing.... guess i can live with that.... may try what juanerson suggested..

Thanks.

Try

<key>UseMemDetect</key>
<string>No</string>

From /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist

By default is Yes (even if you don´t have that flag in o.c.B.p).

That worked, both sticks are now reporting 1867mhz !

Thanks
