Dr. Hurt
If you have an ALPS ( as most sandy bridge Dells), then try the attached kext... Recent versions of Rehabman's voodooPS2 have broken ALPS support. Recent versions of Rehabman's voodooPS2 have broken ALPS support. it's correct the steps? 1.- sudo cp org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons 2.- sudo cp VoodooPS2Daemon /usr/bin 3.- install kext 4.- repair cache and reboot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296441-voodoops2-problems/#findComment-1998491 Share on other sites
Dr. Hurt
Just delete the old kext, and install the new one. The other stuff is not important. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296441-voodoops2-problems/#findComment-1998496 Share on other sites

Dr. Hurt
Now the trackpad works..... but i don't know why i get this error in preferences This prepane is not designed for ALPS. Just use the Apple's trackpad settings. PS. If you have issues with battery (as I see in your signature), download and install the kext from here: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-acpi-battery-driver/downloads Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296441-voodoops2-problems/#findComment-1998521 Share on other sites
