NeXtor Posted February 7, 2014 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Ho effettuato alcune ricerche ma non sono riuscito a trovare nulla in relazione alla compatibilità o alla non compatibilità di questa scheda video con il sistema maverick 10.9 Avete delle esperienze? Ho provato varie combinazioni al boot usando: -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No -f -x Dsdt=no Ma nulla di fatto. NeXtor Posted February 9, 2014 Author Share Posted February 9, 2014 l'hardware è quello in firma, ho solo sostituito la GTS 250 con l'ATI 4870x2 ma ho dovuto montarla allo slot pci-e secondario perché al primo non entra (troppo lunga, va a sbattere contro l'alloggiamento degli hdd). La cosa strana è che quando ho rimontato la GTS250, collegandola nello slot pci-e secondario e non al primario, la temperatura della gpu saliva subito a 80gradi ed anche più con rendimenti pessimi; riportandola al primo slot pci-e è tornata a funzionare perfettamente. Ciro82 Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Il secondo slot quello "black" ha un link PCIe massimo di 8X ecco perché non hai le massime prestazioni. Quindi devi per forza di cose provare a installare la scheda nel primo PCIe, quello "Blue". Ad ogni modo, non è quello il problema che impedisce alla 4870x2 di funzionare. Magari i più esperti sanno qual'è il nesso tra la GPU e l'errore "still waiting for root device". Ciao, io ho da tempo una 4870 asus, come puoi vedere dalla mia firma, e non ho avuto mai nessun problema nel farla riconoscere.Probabilmente può essere come dettoti sopra dallo slot PCI ove la hai installata.
