ianmontana
Hi Newbie here..... Just built my first hack - used a asus X79 Deluxe mother board with a 3930 CPU and a GTX 760 GPU Using two samsung SSD's in Raid 0 for my OSX install with another 4 STD hard drive - two stand alone and another in Raid 0 So I used ##### and ##### for the build - so issues are as follows USB 3 seems to be recognised and is listed in the info on the machine but when you plug in an external hard drive it recognises it but cannot read or write to it - format is extended journal and works on the mac book pro Bluetooth 4.0 not recognised - I've ordered a dongle to sort this one The main issue that concerns me is that Finder crashes, in that it ejects the internal drives without notice during operation. Sometimes Finder can only be started again by a reboot - all the time the ejected disks cannot be remounted and the machine has to be restarted If anyone can shine al iight on items 1 and 3 it would be hugely appreciated Thanks Monty

ianmontana
I have completely re-done my Mavericks install from the details from this site - it took more time and effort but was definately worth while The system is now stable and working really well - app store gives me an error but that is the only issue at present Excellent site !!!!!!
