mwr_allen Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Hi All, I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB3F4E laptop and I have run a few versions of Mac on it in the past but more recently I cannot due to not having AHCI available in the Bios. My current Bios version seems to be R1140Y8 at the top of the screen and at the bottom reads Version 1.28.1119. Can someone help me to get a Bios update to enable AHCI. Thanks. Marcus. Usually you'd be able to unlock hidden menus with j-bios.py, search for it, at least you can try.
