avixt Posted January 17, 2014 Share Posted January 17, 2014 This is my System spec MBD: Intel DQ35JOE CPU: Intel Quad Core Q9300 GPU: ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce 210 Synergy Edition 1 GB DDR3 Onboard GPU: Intel GMA3100(not x3100)[not in use] HDD: Seagate 1TB SMPS(PSU): 450watt AUDIO: Realtek ALC 268-GR OSX: MAC 10.8.2 (niresh distro) I have removed default [AppleHDA.kext] and installed another [AppleHDA.kext] of latest, but audio doesn't work even audio volume control did not appear. Then I removed [AppleHDA.kext] and installed VoodooHDA.kext for ALC286 in ML. removed cache and rebuild cache then restart - audio is working. But again when I shutdown or restart the audio doesn't work though Volume control is there.VoodooHDA behaving weired - if I repeat the whole process[AppleHDA.kext install -> Voodoo.kext remove -> rebuild cache -> restart -> AppleHDA.kext remove -> Voodoo.kext install again -> rebuild cache along with permission fix -> restart ] - audio will work.
