Hi

I planning to build a mac with intel core duo. I've done some searches for the required hardware in this forum and google. Based on the searches I think the following is the spec i should buy.

 

As anybody gone through this. Any advise would be really helpful.

 

 

motherboard = Gigabyte GA 8I945GMMFY-RH i945G,

S479, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 400/533/667, SATA II, SATA RAID, uATX, VGA

 

memory = 2Gb (2X1Gb) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC5400 (667), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered,

CAS 4-4-4-12

 

HDD = 400 Gb Samsung HD400LJ Spinpoint M, SATA300, 7200 rpm, 8MB Cache, 8.9 ms, NCQ

 

Graphics card = 128MB Gigabyte 7600GT PCI-E Mem 1000MHz GPU 560MHz 12Pipes D-Sub/Dual Link

DVI/HDTV SLi Passive

 

CPU = Intel Core Duo T2500 Socket479, Yonah, 2.0GHz, 2MBCache, FSB667 Retail

 

DVD = Sony dual layer 16x DVD R/RW...

 

 

 

Also I've been trying to compare core Duo with Core duo 2 as they use 478 and 775 socket.
