I installing osx using 10.4.7 jas dvd. yes it is successful, but my sound is have a problem just like this : In OSX, Left speaker has output sound, but right speaker is not. i have check volume balance, it's already set to center. Rammjet Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 Audio is a problem on a Hackintosh. There are very few native drivers. Most people have to hack an existing driver to get stereo sound. Some people only get mono sound. Others get no sound. You can find out the type of sound chip you have like a Realtek 882 or Sigmatel 9200 or Soundmax 1981 and search the board for possible fixes. Also, go to the Utilities folder and play with Audio MIDI Setup thanks for assistance, but i dont understand how to hack existing driver. my sound chip is : Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA® Audio Controller. i have search the forum but there is only ac97 for intel. now where and how i can modify existing drivers ? thank you.
