Kevin Wong Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 I followed the instructions for installing the OSX partition I got from here. The first time I booted up on the OSX partition, it got messed up and the gray apple screen said to restart. The second time, I put in the command "platform=x86pc -v" and it didn't get messed up like it did the first time. BUT several lines into the loading process, the hard drive becomes incredibly active (the light just stays on) and the screen debugging lines keep repeating "Still waiting for root device" after every 30 seconds or so. So now I'm stuck watching "Still waiting for root device" repeat itself whenever I try to boot up the OSX partition. Any suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
