maskio
Hello.I'm running Mavericks on a machine with a Asus p5kpl-am epu, dual core e6500, 4gb ram and an KINGSTON SV100S264G SSD with the latest firmware revision 120504.Everything is smooth apart from sleep but I can't seem to enable trim. I've tried thesudo perl -pi -e 's|(\x52\x6F\x74\x61\x74\x69\x6F\x6E\x61\x6C\x00{1,20})[^\x00]{9}(\x00{1,20}\x54)|$1\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00$2|sg' /System/Library/Extensions/IOAHCIFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOAHCIBlockStorage.kext/Contents/MacOS/IOAHCIBlockStoragesudo touch /System/Library/Extensions/but still no trim. The strange thing is: on system profile, the ssd drive is using the ata protocol and the medium type is serial ata and not solid state. What can I do to enable trim? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294583-no-trim-support/ Share on other sites
