felau Posted October 5, 2006 Share Posted October 5, 2006 Hello, I tried to mess up with the ata speed on my OS X and i have a ATI chipset. The thing is that i followed some instructions here to accelerate ATA, but it was only working for intel...so i replaced the IOATAFamily.kext by the one offered on the site, and when i restarted, nothing happened but the grey apple....So now i'm writing from my windows partition and i wonder if somebody in all of you could send me your version of IOATAFamily.kext that works for ATI.
