abubin Posted November 28, 2013 Share Posted November 28, 2013 This is really strange. My motherboard is gigabyte B78-D3V (ver 2.0) FC. The RAM is Kingston HyperX 1600 (8GB x 2). This board only have 2 slots and running at dual channel.I just re-installed my OSX and here is what I see in system information:BANK 2/ChannelB-DIMM0:Size: 8 GBType: DDR3Speed: 1600 MHzStatus: OKManufacturer: KingstonPart Number: KHX1600C10D38GXSerial Number: BANK 0/ChannelA-DIMM0:Size: 8 GBType: DDR3Speed: 1333 MHzStatus: OKManufacturer: KingstonPart Number: KHX1600C10D38GXSerial Number: Anyone know what gives? I booted up to windows 7 and it is reporting to me my memory is running dual channel.
