Huckleberry Pie
I dunno, I just updated HWSensors to a newer build. The kexts load and seem to work, but what bugs me for a bit are the following messages that I get on boot: 11/17/13 8:32:47.000 AM kernel[0]: Backtrace 0xffffff80006b7239 0xffffff80006b6d1d 0xffffff7f81a124f8 0xffffff7f81a11c19 0xffffff800069297f 0xffffff800069253f 0xffffff800068e119 11/17/13 8:32:47.000 AM kernel[0]: Kernel Extensions in backtrace: 11/17/13 8:32:47.000 AM kernel[0]: org.netkas.driver.FakeSMC(944.0)[71AF382C-3C63-335B-95AE-B3BEE74F8655]@0xffffff7f81a10000->0xffffff7f81a19fff 11/17/13 8:32:47.000 AM kernel[0]: dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily(1.4)[045D5D6F-AD1E-36DB-A249-A346E2B48E54]@0xffffff7f812a4000 11/17/13 8:32:47.000 AM kernel[0]: dependency: org.hwsensors.driver.FakeSMCKeyStore(944)[080D6E00-6E3F-307F-9067-22053E236C51]@0xffffff7f812d7000 Is this expected or did I do anything wrong? Riley Freeman
It's done that for a while now. I dont think it's anything to worry about.
Huckleberry Pie
Thanks, for a second I thought that it coughed out or something.
MilesMan
My system does that too. Funny thing is that if i boot with -f, the messages don't appear. Edit: I actually seemed to fix it and improve my boot time by using AppleACPIPlatform.kext from 10.8.1 I'm currently running 10.9 on a non-Gigabyte Mobo.
