jolly2008 Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Hello everyone, I'm trying to make an extreme machine, on a old computer I could without any problem installing SL , I just have to solve a problem of vga. Instead I have a new computer on the motherboard "asus z87-deluxe" with UEFI BIOS + cpu intel i7 (4770k) + vga asus nvidia gtx-770OC2GB and 32 gb of ram, SSD HD + HD 1TB Seagate 7200rpm, I have trouble making the 'installation! I have ML, prepared the usb pen, the bios recognizes it, I make the boot and fails to start the installation! Please help me, Thank you. rlf Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 The i7-4770k is a Haswell processor. ML only supports Haswell in version 10.8.5. If your ML installer is for an earlier version, it will not run on your processor. Either make sure you have ML 10.8.5 or go to Mavericks 10.9.
