Rammjet
Is this a problem with booting the DVD or booting after installing OSX? If it is a problem booting OSX, try using VMWare to do the installation. After you install using VMWare, you should be able to boot OSX without using VMWare: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=11314 If the problem is after you have installed, then review what packages you selected in the Customize window. Rammjet
"tiger-osx86-flat.img" is OSX 10.4.1. It is old and busted. None of the current Intel Mac programs work with it. Find an installer DVD image for 10.4.5, 10.4.6 or 10.4.7 and give that a try. If you can't install it using the DVD, then use VMWare to install it per the link I gave you. Once you get it installed, you no longer need VMWare.
