rlf
Two things: Clover can be kind of tricky to configure properly. Why not try to get Chameleon going first and then later you can switch to Clover? You keep saying that you can only boot in safe mode. But you never say what exactly happens when you don't boot in safe mode. Does it hang? Does it kernel panic? Does the screen go black? If it hangs, how about booting in verbose mode -v and taking a picture of the monitor when it hangs?
Bungo
rlf's right, you have to provide more info. For me helped replacing AppleACPIPlatform.kext with this one.
brickerz
Apologies for not responding. After a lot of digging and searching I'm finally booting with just -v in chameleon. My next hurdle is sound. I installed the AppleHDA from a thread over at that other place, but all I have is a virtual audio device that plays nothing.
