itsdanielcohen
What kext do I need to get my Hackintosh to recognize my disk drive? I've checked my BIOS for my components names and I found out two things: 1. In the BIOS settings there's a section that says eSata and I can set it to IDE, AHCI or RAID. 2. During the boot there's a message that says JMicron.com ATAII/PATA and then a line below that shows my disk drive name. Inside System/Library/Extensions I've added "AHCI_3rdParty_eSata" and everything but the disk drive is detected fine. My board is P5KR Intel Quad core Asus also shows all of the parts but I don't know which part am I suppose to look for.
