AT0MAC
I have a good hack running with mountain lion and wants it to be top of the line in terms of its response times - therefor I have really fast RAM and high end SSDs in RAID0. Would there be any benefits in upgrading to 10.9? As far as I see in benchmarks it seems I can gain a little in CPU power but actually degrade a little in raw reading speeds and ram throughput. Am I right? Hope any one can clarify, I will stick to mountain lion if it for now gives me the best speeds (I hate to wait and love to run a ton of apps at the same time) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292997-should-i-upgrade/ Share on other sites
fantomas
hi I can't tell you if you 'should' upgrade your hack to MV but in any case, you can try, it's free!!! good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292997-should-i-upgrade/#findComment-1957307 Share on other sites
Gringo Vermelho
My plan is to hang back a little and see what (if anything) happens to the first movers. If you wait a few days some issues are bound to pop up here and there, at least you'll be prepared.
