mccar
Hi, guys, I tried to setup mail server on a Mac mini server OS X 10.8.5. I bought in App Store a Server.app 2.2.2 and install it. In Server.app i install DNS, add user and give users rights. (User rights are all same. For example: Full name: Uranus, Account name: Uranus, email: eugen@mycompany.com, Full name: Triton, Account name: Triton, email: john@mycompany.com) Now when i try to send a mail to user inside in domen or send mail outside from domen to user i got errors. I logs are something like this - server got a mail from eugen@ mycompany.com to john@mycompany.com, but user does not exists. Sender receives a mail: "550 5.1.1 <john@mycompany.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table" Second problem: for clients i'm using OS X 10.8.5 Mail. Some clients connecting to the server, send and receive mail successfully, some clients can't connect to the server. Even if i try it from same mail client. I use this "how to" https://help.apple.com/advancedserveradmin/mac/10.8/ Does anybody has a normal detailed manual or video how to set mail server? Or have experience how to setup mail server? P.S. Thanks and sorry for my bad English. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292739-need-help-setup-mail-server-using-serverapp/ Share on other sites
