StoneTemplePilots
Hello, I have spoofed an iMac13,2 - hardware as described in my signature. My P8Z77-V LX doesn't have thunderbolt but even if I install the firmware-update 1.2 it's showing again after reboot: Is there any known way to suppress this anoying upgrade attempt? best regards

teamgreg8
Good evening, I have the same update for an iMac 13,1 configuration. I have not installed it. Just out of curiosity, would it corrupt my system if I installed it? My motherboard is the GA-B75M-D3H, with an i3 3225 processor, therefore no Thunderbolt capability. Thanks! joe75
it wouldn't do anything and it will keep showing up because it will see that you don't have the update because you don't really have the hardware I've never understood why anyone applies these firmware updates for hardware they don't have.. i had one guy tell me he installed them to be "more vanilla"
