Here's my problems, i'll be as brief as I can.

With the install when it said select a drive to install OSX to, there was nothing there, so i went into Disk Utility and Erased the partition i formatted with id=af in the windows DiskPart utility. Then it popped up and the install continued. The only other problem I have with the installation is that when it does the countdown at the very end to restart it stalls afterwards and has a spinning black circle (not a pinwheel). So I just hit the restart button on my computer case.

When it boots for the first time, it seems to be detecting hardware, then it starts the GUI interface, but all I see is a black screen with my mouse (that moves around). I tried hitting all sorts of combo's of keys, nothing.

Here's my system.

Opteron 148 (with sse3)

Nforce4 mobo

IDE drives

no usb mouse/keyboard, all PS2

one monitor

X1600XT video card

Marvell Ethernet

If anyone has any ideas, i'd love to hear em :D

Thanks,

Joe

Oh, and when I customized the install during setup. I selected AMD SSE3, the AMD option right above AMD SSE2, and the 10.4.6 update. that's all.

I've also tried using both monitor outputs off my video card.

You also need the 10.4.6 SemjaZa v1.2 AMD Decrypts
