lemmyc
Hi, I've had my Magic Mouse working great in Lion with my D-Link DBT-120 dongle. Now i've moved to Mountain Lion, it can't find my Magic Mouse. At first Bluetooth in general wasn't working well - the icon showed, but it couldn't be switched on and off, so I replaced the IOBluetooth* kexts with the ones from Lion. Now I can switch Bluetooth on and off, but bluetooth devices don't seem to be found. I also tried replacing the AppleHIDMouse.kext with the one from Lion, as I see it contains a bluetooth mouse kext. That didn't help. Does anyone have their D-Link dongle working with Mountain Lion? I have a cloned version of my Lion instance of OS X, can you suggest anything I should copy over from there into Mountain Lion to get this working? Thanks. lemmyc
OK, well I reinstalled OS X ML over my existing install, to restore the ML bluetooth drivers, and partly as an experiment - and now the blueooth is working and the magic mouse is recognised. In the meantime I have ordered another Belkin dongle to add to my collection...
