Can only boot from USB

Often asked question, but I've searched high and low and found no solution yet.

 

I can only boot from USB. Booting normally freezes around "DSMOS has arrived".

 

The USB uses Clover to boot, while I have Chameleon installed on the hard drive.

 

I have tried every boot flag under the sun and swapped around a lot of kexts.

Specs: Asus N53SV
Intel Core i7-2670QM
Intel® HD Graphics 3000 (NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M)
Realtek ALC269
Atheros AR9002WB-1NG Wireless Network Adapter

sounds like u didnt install fakesmc on hdd and rebuild cache
