sleeveless zach Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 In the past I had 10.5 (Kalyway) installed on my old inspiron 1525. I decided I wanted to put Lion onto my Asus k53e. Whenever I try to install (whether it be my OLD kalyway disc, 10.6.2 by Hazard, or iATKOS L2), I get the same kernel panic (attached) It's failing on AppleAHCIPort. What exactly does that mean? I might (not positive) have ICH9 controller (CPU_Z tells me my mainboard is intel sandbridge version 09, is that what that means?) Sorry for sounding like an idiot. I have AHCI_Extended_Injector.kext, just don't know how to add it to an install image, nor do I know if this will fix the problem. Any help?
