atlnte Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I have one of those Clear and Black Apple Pro mice, and I was wondering if they work on OSX86 installs, because I tried it, and it lights up, but then it goes out again. I'm not 100% sure it works, but I'm pretty sure it does. Should it work? If not, is there any way I could get it to work? You have to set in bios preferences the possibility to use an USB mouse. Andrey Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 It's a USB device, there's no reason I can think of that it won't work. As mentioned earlier, play with your BIOS USB settings. For mine, I had to leave all BIOS-based USB options ENabled. atlnte Posted October 1, 2006 Author Share Posted October 1, 2006 I have a laptop, and I can use a regular mouse just fine, so I guess the mouse is just broken. A friend gave it to me because He doesn't like Apple mouses, and got one with 2 buttons instead.
