Hello All,

First time post here and I have hit a brick wall with trying to get wifi working on my ThinkPad X230 with Mountain Lion 10.8.4.

I purchased a replacement Qualcomm Atheros AR9280 mPCIe but my BIOS has not been hacked yet to remove the whitelist.

Also I have had no success with a TP-Link TL-WN925N V2 (RTL8188EUS) nano USB wifi adapter.  This revision uses the latest RTL8188EUS chipset and does not have any drivers available on RealTek's website or any others that that work with it.  TP-Link have confirmed the chipset and I am waiting for a response from Realtek about driver support.

There are many cheap nano adapters online that have the older RTL8188CUS chipset but I have not found any successful threads with this running on 10.8.4.

With the Realtek drivers on 10.8.4 my experience is that the KEXT's never get loaded and the "Wireless Utility" app simply does not start.

Therefore I would appreciate a recommendation from someone that has a working nano USB wifi adapter running on ML 10.8.4.

Many thanks in advance.
