johnnytluxury Posted September 30, 2006 Share Posted September 30, 2006 Not a major thing but kinda annoying, Im using Vistas loader for my triple boot duties, an it works ok but it 'stakes me to OSX loader (Darwin) when I choose to boot OSX and then I have to choose OSX thru Darwin, so basically Im using both bootloaders. Is there a way i can or make that stop, better yet, anyone know how I can just use Drawin to handle all, since Darwin sees all partitions as well?? Im told Vistas loader likes to be master of them all, but I want it to know Im the only master here! Elrithranduil Posted September 30, 2006 Share Posted September 30, 2006 I tried this but in the end I got so frustrated I deleted my Vista partition. Guess what the vista bootloader still wasnt gone. I use Acronis OS Selector as my bootloader menu. It looks sweet but Vista wasnt recognised only XP and whenever I selected XP the Vista bootloader came up which let me choose if I wanted Vista or XP. In the end is was kinda hard to delete the vista bootloader after I deleted Vista. I even reinstalled XP for that (It needed a fresh install anyway). Same as it happened with chain0 method in XP. You had then to press F8 to get to chose in darwin's loader.Want to control more? Chose a different leash.
