thecodecowboy Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 I experienced kernel panics / grey shutdown screens with 4GB memory. maxmem=3072 at boot solves this but you'll only have 3GB of memory. If you find a stable way of running 4GB of memory without doing this, let me know! There are plenty of discussions on the boards about the '4 GB crash' issue.
