    BBC iplayer License error

I *think* it may be a combination of having a valid network interface configured as en0 and a valid SMBIOS.plist for your board/setup. I have got my network card as en0 and this alone hasnt fixed it. There is a guide on how to create an smbios on prasys blog (google 'prasys smbios.plist'). Reading posts about netflix and silverlight problems have led me to this conclusion.

Please add support for ASUS P5E3 Premium WIFI AP@N. Its similar to ASUS boards you support but not exactly the same. I am also having trouble getting my Delta 66 audio card to be recognised. I've tried the ENVY 24 driver and the card is listed in lspci -v: 06:01.0 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies Inc. Unknown device 0712 (rev 02) Subsystem: VIA Technologies Inc. Unknown device c632 Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 17 I/O ports at ec00 I/O ports at e880 I/O ports at e800 I/O ports at e480 Capabilities: [80] Power Management version 1 Ignore my sig - it is out of date. I am running 10.6.5 with VoodooHDA (couldnt get the AD1988b to work) Onboard firewire also not working (never has, including on my old leopard install) thanks! (see attached)

There is something about the hackintosh setup which prevents the licensing from working. I dont know what and it will take a hackintosh guru to figure it out. I've just built a fresh hack with 10.6 and the problem is still there.

    Firewire & Sound

thats the only place I know of. Ask on the appropriate IRC channels (you'll find information on the forums on how to do that)

I experienced kernel panics / grey shutdown screens with 4GB memory. maxmem=3072 at boot solves this but you'll only have 3GB of memory. If you find a stable way of running 4GB of memory without doing this, let me know! There are plenty of discussions on the boards about the '4 GB crash' issue.

    Firewire & Sound

I did not get the Agere firewire chip working on this board. Save yourself 2 weeks of searching and buy a PCI EXPRESS (NOT PCI) firewire card with a Texas Instruments chip if you need firewire. No intel Mac Pros have PCI card slots so PCI cards are unlikely to work. Mac Pros have PCI express slots Sound - head over to http://wiki.taruga.net/, register, and look for the rev4 installer to enable lineout, headphones and mic in on your board. Front panel mic not working at time of writing.
  7. Hi, I have the above board and 10.5.2 Kalyway installed with 10.5.3 combo update. Wifi drivers are available for this board but are a bit flaky - they only seem to work with '-f -v' option entered at the Darwin boot prompt. find them here: http://www.ralinktech.com.tw/Home/Support/Macintosh.html (this is the taiwan site which has more recent drivers then the English language one) If you have this board and are running a Hackintosh on it, please let me know. Am particularly interested to hear from Kalyway users. codeCowboy
