Save yourself 2 weeks of searching and buy a PCI EXPRESS (NOT PCI) firewire card with a Texas Instruments chip if you need firewire. No intel Mac Pros have PCI card slots so PCI cards are unlikely to work. Mac Pros have PCI express slots Sound - head over to http://wiki.taruga.net/, register, and look for the rev4 installer to enable lineout, headphones and mic in on your board.
