So I know OSX 10.5 is right around the corner, with time machine and all that, but who couldn't use a little piece of mind today? Especialy those running OSX86...I know I could, and that's when I ran across this great little app called iBackup.

After installing, I slelected what elements I wanted to backup; system preferences, applications, that extensive iTunes or iPhoto library, then I selected the target folder or drive I wanted to send the backup to and off it went!

You can select a frequency for backups (scheduled function) and compress the backup as cpgz, zip, create a burn folder, or just do a straight file transfer.

But the best part about iBackup...It's FREE! (for personal use of course)

Visit http://www.grapefruit.ch/iBackup/ to get a copy.

Cheers!
