s0me.one
Hi, I'm new to this community, and I bought a new Laptop wich have an Intel Chipset, and I thought I could install OS X in it. I had some problems installing OS X from an installation disc of 10.4.3. The problem was after the grey screen while booting OS X. After the grey screen, a blue screen appeared... Only a blue screen, no errors or anything... I tried with the verbose mode "-v" and even with the save mode "-x" or with "platform=x86pc" or "platform=ACPI"... nothing worked... After some forced reboots, i boot into OS X installation screen without any modes activated, but I loaded by bios defauls , and it installed with no problems. The problem continues after the installation... After the faster grey loading screen, a nice blue screen appears. It tooks about 20 seconds to load, and after the blue screen, nothing else happens... Specs: Laptop name: Asus A3Ac Processor: Intel Pentium M 740 with 1.73GHz FSB: 533MHz Memory: 1GB DDRII 533MHz Chipset: Mobile Intel® 915GM Express Graphic: Intel 915GM ... I would like to make my Lappy running OS X... Thanks.

s0me.one
I re-installed it again, and now I'm on in. Pretty fast at all... I thing my wireless integrated card isn't working, but I have a external PCMCIA card that's working I think. It has the ralink chipset... When I'm finish with this, I'll post more about my progress... Now, the hard work is to get the laptop monitor working with the Paperclip Hack ^^ Thanks for all! PS: I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.3, with the installation DVD.

s0me.one
I used that "amazing" Paperclip Hack! It works :X lol I have the system running OS X 10.4.3 without any patches, so iTunes don't work, and so many other programs... I'll download the Jas 10.4.6 version, and then upgrade to 10.4.7... Hope my system keep "stable" when I upgrade... I still have a problem that I think it's because of the patches... When I try to open "Network" is System Preferences, it crashes... My ASUS WL-107G PCMCIA Wireless Card is working well I have an built in Webcam that's not recognised... But, that's another question! Other thing, is there any way to change some keys in keyboard?? Ex: ⎨⎬ << I only can write this with the "Character Palette"... Othewise, it will write ÷≠ << this! Regards.
s0me.one
I set my processor performance to Highest in "Energy Saver"... But when I close the laptop lid, my processor turns to 800MHz instead 1.73GHz... Why is this happening?... Other thing, is there any way to change some keys in keyboard??Ex: ⎨⎬ << I only can write this with the "Character Palette"... Othewise, it will write ÷≠ << this! Now I'm downloading OS X 10.4.6, the update to 10.4.7, MS Office 2004 and Adobe Creative Studio 2... Other thing... When I try to run a .dmg file... It wont open... For example, I mount the MS Office 2004 dmg file, but I can't open the mounted file... Thanks.
s0me.one
It was because of the patches... Now I have 10.4.7 with the patches and all is running almost perfect... I found all the Keys in my Keyboard and it's fine now ^^ But there still some problems: The Webcam, and the PCMCIA (after the sleep mode it plug off the adapter...). I still have a BIOS problem... I can't manage my graphics energy performance... That's why when I'm on battery energy, the system is slow! Thanks.
