Gianfrix Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 Hello everybody! I've succeeded in installing OSX Mountain Lion GM Retail on my Acer Aspire 5930G. I've got a problem though with the external VGA output, which is not working. When I make OS X detect the external monitor, both screens go black and I have to shutdown with the power button as I can't do anything. The videocard is an NVIDIA 9600M GT 512MB DDR3 I've tried GraphicsEnabler, NVInject 64 (which goes slightly faster than GraphicsEnabler) and device-properties into the bootloader plist (even though I don't know if I've done it wrong, but I used the nvcap from my VGA card). What else can I try? May it be some ML fault? Do you know if multimonitor is supported in Lion? The following QE/CI, sound (VoodooHDA), Wifi (Dlink DWA-140) work except external VGA monitor display doesn't work. Any idea how I can enable the external display?
