TheKerz
Hello everyone, I'm about to buy a new PC to run a Hackintosh, but I have one question. I have the following monitor https://www.samsung....B970DS/ZA-specs that comes with integrated speakers, but they work only with DisplayPort or HDMI since there is no audio input jack (oh my god why). So my question is, with the latest update (10.8.3), that from what I understood adds the out-of-the-box support for GTX 660 non-ti cards, will I be able to use DisplayPort to transfer also audio signals? Thanks in advance!
Rampage Dev
You will have to use the HDMI edit for Nvidia.
TheKerz
You will have to use the HDMI edit for Nvidia. Thanks for the answer, do you have a quick link to a guide/post about that? So the HDMI method work even with DisplayPort? Thank you very much, Rampage Dev.

TheKerz
Thanks for the reply. I didn't have to use a DSDT before, so I extracted a new one using DSDTSE. Here are the files. Archivio.zip

TheKerz
look if this work for you, if not work post a DarwinDump full report PatchedHDMI.zip Thank you very much for your time. Sadly it didn't work, but maybe (probably) it's my fault. All I have to do is put the DSDT on /Extra/DSDT.aml is it right? Or do I need a different kext from what I'm using now? (because before I wasn't using a DSDT). Anyway I attached the full DarwinDumper report as you asked.
