shreaded_teddy Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 has anyone got a phonic firewire mixer working on their hackintosh? i've got 10.4.7 running on my dell inspiron laptop and i'm trying to hook up my phonic helix 18 firewire mixer for doing recordings with. i installed cubase le which came with the drivers cd and in the system profiler the phonic mixer shows up under the firewire port when it's hooked up, but it won't show up in cubase or in audio midi setup in utilities. i've tried changing firewire ports on the mixer and restarting with it on and pluged in then turning it on but it still didn't help. so far the phonic technical support hasn't helped.
