Totoro
Hello I've planed to install MacOSX (yes, I switch !) on my P4 desktop, but I've got a lack of space on the main hard drive. So I want to install it on an external hard drive. I've got an external HDD Case with both FireWire and USB 2.0 and a 80 Gb IDE Disk in. Which way do you recommend me to choose ? USB or FireWire ? Which way could you recommend me to achieve it ? Thanx A LOT for any help
shui aquatic
I have never installed osx on external hd. But I have tried to put a hd containting osx already in usb-hd box. It could be booted by chain0 on fixed disk. I think it could boot also by the usb-hd boot mode. It works fine, but little slow, and sometimes the operation for writing would delay for seconds. perhaps 1394 may give better performance, if it can by booted.
