ghw9132 Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 Though i have not tried it, i would say no. That is an image of an pre-installed copy designed to run on a read/write medium. Are you trying to achieve a native install with one hard disk? if so, and you have an extra cd-rom drive, you can burn the img to a dual layer dvd, boot a live linux distro in the cd-rom drive, and dd it to your HD.
